A great addition to any trauma kit, especially in wet or severe environments. This hard to find battle dressing is a standard component in all U.S. Army first aid kits. Individually packaged in a sterilized rugged vinyl overwrap. The dressing measures 4" x 5" x 1/2" with twin white 35" bandage tails. Applications include: wound or burn dressing, sling, splint padding, tourniquet, etc. The vacuum sealed package is a great indicator of package integrity and is lightweight and compact (2" x 4" x 1/2"). When deployed, it can absorb over 1/2 pint of blood and takes the place of 20 (4" x 4") gauze pads.
